I hope you have had a restful track out. Thank you to everyone that attended their conference. If you haven’t had a conference, please let me know ASAP. As the temperatures start to cool down, please make sure your child brings a jacket every day. We go outside unless temperatures dip below freezing.
We are collecting toilet paper rolls for our Kazoos in Science, please consider donating.
What We Are Learning
Math - We are learning how to tell time to the hour, half hour and also 5 minute increments along with AM and PM. We will then move onto arrays which means repeated addition. Next we will talk about place value with 3 digit numbers.
Literacy - We are learning how fossils tell of earth’s changes. We will be reading books about dinosaurs, bones, fossils, and digs. We will be writing a narrative about discovering a fossil for our final task. There will be a celebration in December which you will be invited to see our hard work. More information to come.
Science - We are studying sound, how the ear and brain work to hear sound along with pitch and volume.
